Rob Manca, CAT(C)

Rob joined the Collegiate team at our first location in June 2005 and is originally from Leduc Alberta. He received his Bachelor of Physical Education in Athletic Therapy from the University of Alberta and coupled that with becoming a Certified Athletic Therapist.
His experience spans over 24 years in field experience, specializing in hockey. He also has over 12 years of clinical experience, previously having worked in Edmonton and Medicine Hat Alberta.

Rob’s career has spanned through some amazing organizations such as the Western Hockey League, being the head therapist for the WHL Champion Medicine Hat Tigers. Working with Alberta Junior Hockey League and with the Alberta Midget Hockey League.
Rob’s specialty in hockey hasn’t limited him as he has also worked in sports like football, soccer, rugby, volleyball, basketball and fastball. He also has professional sports experience working with the Pro Rodeo Sports Medicine Team for 3 years as well as spending time working with the Edmonton Eskimos and Edmonton Drillers.

Many of Rob’s clients are drawn to him as he makes therapy and treatment enjoyable, fun and educational. Given this magical talent with clients he has been essential to our Concussion treating team, our orthotics specialist as well as Active Release Techniques®,

When Rob isn’t at the clinic treating, he spends time with his family at sporting events, camping and discovering new skills with kayaking in Central Alberta.

Rob joined Collegiate Red Deer Main as an Athletic Therapist in June 2005.
