Emily Nadon

Physiotherapist

Emily loves helping & teaching people. Her personal struggle with injuries in sport allow her to empathize with and understand clients. Emily knows the benefits to treating the person as a whole not just the injury.

Emily also has a passion for Pelvic Health & has been treating conditions including Male and female incontinence, prolapse, pre and post-partum, pelvic pain, PCOS, Endometriosis, Menopause symptoms and return to activity. She has completed levels 1, 2 & 3 in pelvic health training, courses in bowel retraining & wants to share her knowledge with everyone so they can be empowered to help themselves.

Born & raised in Red Deer, Emily was a Kinesiologist with Collegiate for 5 years prior to completing her Masters in Physical Therapy through the University of Alberta in 2018 & has full body certification in dry needling (FDN). She also does field work with the Blackfalds Silverbacks Lacrosse team since 2015.

When Emily isn’t busy treating clients, she’s likely out hiking, camping or backpacking in the summer, or snowboarding, Cross country skiing, and snowshoeing in the winter. The mountains are her happy place. She also loves penguins & if you catch her on a Thursday you’ll notice she’s wearing purple. Purple Thursday is a tradition she started in her first year with Collegiate & many colleagues are still following the tradition to this day.

Emily Nadon rejoined Collegiate at our Red Deer Campus location as a Physiotherapist in December 2017.
